CAREER COACHING
Our working lives have become more complex. Few of us will stay in a 'job for life.' We also face greater job insecurity and the prospect of working beyond traditional retirement ages. All of these changes mean that it is increasingly important to plan and manage our careers:
• How do you choose the right career?
• What if you want to change career?
• What about returning to work after a career break?
• How can you balance work and home commitments?
• How should you update your CV and prepare for an interview?
• And how do you cope with redundancy, a difficult manager, a stressful job?
Career coaching offers the chance to talk with a career professional about these sorts of issues. This can help to clarify how you want your career to develop and provide an opportunity to identify and discuss some potential career options.
The career coaching services that I offer follow ethical guidelines set out by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and Career Development Institute.
SUPERVISION SERVICES
Career coaches are increasingly required to incorporate supervision into both their training and practice work. I am an experienced supervisor, drawing upon a wide array of career theory and practice approaches to provide tailored support with managing client caseloads.
